Bachelor of Science at REA Card

REA Card is a partner of the University Darmstadt in the co-operative course of studies computer sciences (KoSI). In the scope of the dual studies, REA Card always has 2 students undergoing instruction in the practical implementation of IT projects. We are pleased that our first student has now completed his studies and congratulate him for his excellent examination marks!

The co-operative course of computer sciences studies leads to a Bachelor of Science after seven semesters. During this time the students are imparted sound specialist fundamental know-how of computer science and its interconnections with mathematics, natural sciences, economy and technology. The prospective computer scientists are engaged in the scope of a training contract with companies in the region already while they are studying.

At REA Card two students each collect experience in the execution of IT projects round and about the POS field in three sponsored practical study semesters. In this time they make direct practical use of their theoretical know-how. The processing of our terminal maintenance data, an internal employee portal and the connector between our retailer data and the solutions of REA Mobile are projects which our students have realised successfully so far.
