Tricksters are trying to query the online access data of POS terminals in sham calls to thus gain access to the terminals and spy on the data. This does not bear any risks for the owners of REA Card terminals. REA Card terminals cannot accept calls from outside. If maintenance work has to be carried out, it is the terminal itself which calls the operator or the maintenance computer. Irrespective of this high REA Card product safety standard, you should, on principle, not impart any data whatsoever about your terminal. |
