REA Sport e. V.: exercising together

Since 2008, REA Card has had its own sports club: REA Sport e. V. Members include not just employees but also friends of the company.

Our cycling group is particularly successful: there is a weekly training run and members take part in cycling races. In June 2009, for example, we finished third place at the Circuit Cycling at Hockenheimring.

Our badminton and football enthusiasts train once a week for two hours in Waschenbach. What’s more, all REA sport club members can now train their strength and stamina at a gym in Mühltal at a special price.

And we always do things together. In April, for example, we all had a day out at Darmstadt’s high ropes course. And of course this summer there will be a return match against the team of the Alice Hospital Darmstadt! We won the first game hands down with 8:2 – and of course we are hoping to defend our success. The proceeds of the charity game will once again go to the Friends of Darmstadt’s Princess Margaret Children’s Hospital.
