Software update for REA card terminals in BCB network operations

REA Card guarantees problem-free and secure payments at all times. That's why we continuously develop our terminal software further and adjust it to the latest security standards.

For this reason, REA Card will be updating its software at all terminals over the coming weeks. This will take place automatically between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

The update increases the stability and security of your terminal, but it doesn't change the functionality or user guidance. In any case, the following instructions must be followed:

- All REA Card terminals must be left switched on at night as well and must remain connected to the Internet or the telephone network.
- Once the software update has started, it cannot be interrupted.
- During the update, the terminal may not be used for up to 20 minutes.

After the update process, your terminal will print a receipt that will confirm that the update was successful.
