Federal Attorney General, Brigitte Zypries, guest at REA

The SPD member of the Bundestag and acting Federal Attorney General, Brigitte Zypries, did not miss out on the opportunity of visiting the company in her constituency, Darmstadt-Dieburg, personally. At the occasion of a joint tour of the premises with the founder of the company, Manfred Pauly, she collected information on the group's product range and in this connection on the new building of a further production site. The new building will offer 150 new jobs by 2008 on an floor space covering 3,500 square metres.

Apart from the expansion of the company, the topics discussed included the invigoration of the industrial location Darmstadt-Dieburg and the introduction of further product innovations such as, for instance, using the mobile phone to pay a parking ticket, as implemented in Darmstadt which REA Mobile has been operating successfully since July 2007 as the first of several planned mobile services.
