Green future at the location Muehltal

REA Card is turning green on 1 December 2008: Shortly before the turn of the year, the power supply in Mühltal will be ecological.

The future energy provider of REA Card is ETEGA, which, with an innovative supply concept in the field of ecologically-generated power, makes sustained action also suitable for the daily use of industrial customers. The green power of ENTEGA is gained 100 per cent from regenerative energy sources: 84.3 per cent is generated from water power, 9.7 per cent from wind energy, one percent from solar power and five per cent from biomass.

The change-over to green power is part of the sustained-yield strategy of REA Card, the aim of which is the harmony between competitiveness and sustainability. Apart from the ecological idea and an employee policy that is family-friendly, it includes the consequent trust in the proven production location in the centre of Europe. Up to this day REA Card focuses on Mühltal as its headquarters for the production of REA Card ec-terminals.
